examiner of the noise we are increasingly bombarded by
i believe communications should be creative and owned by all and constantly work to break down barriers - this lies at the heart of my practice. there are privileged communications and unprivileged. for example i have particular experience in creatively challenging psychiatric narratives (part of the 'cannon' of narratives conducted over us), which are essentially a privileged form of storytelling. this is informed by my own disability - long-term mental ill-health which has seen me hospitalised many times, first as a teenager. i believe a 'bandwidth' and not hierarchy is a more appropriate artistic approach to current times. i.e. many voices have the right to be experienced as each has something to add to the mix. radical antipsychiatrists, deleuze/guattari talk about the lines of our life - both the formal ones - & also the more subliminal, that mark our unique voyages. i try following these ones in my work and see myself as an advocate for using creativity to overcome illness

Your graphic style of art is very developed. I see influences from contemporary culture in your work; music, journalism, street art and social struggles that are going on in the world around us. This is very good quality art.
