“When I set out to paint I start with abstract lines and forms which flow into spontaneously created symbols and figures. When you look closely you can see references to music, movement, religion and emotions within my marks. My work comes from my imagination and memories of people and places I have seen. I paint and draw juxtaposing images to represent feelings and emotions.”
