Outside In

I have been making images since I was a teen. Using and abusing sticks, brushes, and spray cans. I work with the subconscious and internal sensations the world around me stirs up. I want to strip things down, with an acute interest in line and surface. I am looking for the spiritual and laying down the human condition down on canvas in its purist form. I like the work of the Surrealists, the Abstract Expressionists and most parallel related genres in film, and paint. I am inspired by emotions, and this is where I am no longer a window, but a mirror artist. In my opinion all good paintings that work, and flow. Are metaphorically a self portrait of the artist. 

I do not believe the concept of art is more valid than the process of creation.
