This piece brings the mundane lampshade and turns it into something exotic. I love to arrange my subjects neatly and pose them symmetrically. It gives an almost comical effect.

A lot of people have a fear of moths. I think here this cheeky little Buddhist god seems to be offering his strawberry as an offering to these amazingly beautiful flying moths as though they were hawks being trained.

How beautifully peaceful does this dead bird look set against this mountainside background. The ladybirds either side give it an almost storybook feel. I have added the balloon for comical effect, to make it more lighthearted.

A comical piece. I have created a cartoon crocodile rather evily putting his arms around his lunch, the lamb. I like the sinister look of the picture. The look of the lamb is so vulnerable that you cannot help feel slightly sad seeing the picture. We glorify violence in cartoons. But my apes in the background remind us that it is all part of nature.
