While sitting on the loo [excuse the image] I notived my son had lined up all his toys on the edge of the bath next to tiled wall and I thought it looked such a charming picture, unfortunately it is not finished as I am not entirley happy with the tiles, too dark.

This started out as an automatic doodle like the Surrealist practised, then I teased out images and themes that became apparent to me. I joyously became a mother for the first time in my 40s hence the swollen pregnant bump on the right side of the composition with milk squirtling out in homage to Tintoretto's Milky Way
